  • grrace - 1) Both the House and Senate bills start collecting revenue in 2010 but do not provide benefits to anyone until 2013. Then Reid and Pelosi call it revenue neutral for the first ten years which is as far as the CBO has scored it.

  • Eric - Clinton was a warmonger? My head is spinning as I always considered him to be something short of a chickenhawk. I do recall he bombed a Tylenol plant in Sudan and had Madeline Albright dance with Dear Leader (a sure Geneva Convention violation).

  • lisa - the amazing thing is that he thought he could win over the Iranians with his boyish charm and well-fitting suits. Now that he has apparently learned that they couldn't care less, he has to scramble for plan B, much like health care, cap and trade, Gitmo, the economy, etc, etc, etc.

  • It seems as though if creating jobs were his number one priority he would be concerned with counting the number of jobs he was creating. Apparently he doesn't care about the outcome, just the concept. Very typical of a person brought up in the world of non-profits.
